Bracelets
Four finishes, open and adjustable. Handmade from pure copper.
Wearing a copper bracelet is not a new idea. The practice runs from Egyptian and Greek sources through Ayurveda to the modern Western market, and it was also studied seriously a few times in the twentieth century. What those studies did and did not show is set out in the copper bracelet.
The bracelet is solid copper, with no coating and no nickel. There are four finishes: twisted, smooth, hammered and round. The copper is the same in all four; the choice is about how visibly you want to wear it, and what smooth and hammered mean in daily wear is in smooth or hammered. It is open and adjustable, with a circumference of about 17.5 centimetres. Not sure which finish suits you? Which copper bracelet suits you puts them side by side.
On many wearers, copper leaves a faint green tint on the skin. That is a reaction between copper, sweat and skin oils, and it washes off with water; what it does and does not mean is explained in why copper turns green or black. We make no health claims about copper on the skin, and why ours have no magnets in them is explained in with or without magnets. What may officially be said about copper in the EU is set out in the eight official EU claims.
